It is known that the payments of directors and heroes have got sky rocketed in big way in Tollywood. The fresh film that is coming up in the production of Anil Sunkara is ‘Aagadu’. The director and hero are none other than Srinu Vaitla and Mahesh Babu those worked for his Dookudu. Indeed, he is making another film with Mahesh Babu at present in the direction of Sukumar.
Well, here is interesting news. As per a source, the pay packet Mahesh Babu is getting for Aagadu is a whopping Rs 15 Cr excluding the share in profit. And the payment for Srinu Vaitla is a mind blowing Rs 13 Cr. Well, some sources say that producer may also have to pay for either sister or brother of Mahesh Babu for buying the dates from either of them.
“Generally Mahesh Babu’s days will officially be reserved by Manjula or Ramesh Babu. Any producer has to buy dates from them”, says an insider.
On a whole it is another evidence to know that the lion share of the budget goes towards remunerations of heroes and directors than the actual making cost.
