Shobana as MaheshBabu's mother

Vamsi Paidipally, who delivered blockbuster Brundavanam with NTR, is now getting ready to direct Mahesh Babu for the first time in his career. Sometime back, Vamsi met Mahesh Babu and gave a basic narration. Mahesh Babu was impressed with the storyline and has reportedly asked Vamsi Paidipally to go ahead with the project and write the full script. Our latest reports state that Veteran Actress Shobana has been roped in as the mother of Prince Mahesh Babu in his forthcoming untitled movie directed by Vamsi Paidipally. The movie is another mother sentiment movie after ‘Nani’ but the movie ‘Nani’ was utter flop at the box-office since then Mahesh is avoiding mother sentiment movies, but now again he has agreed to play in the mother sentiment movie. Dil Raju is going to produce the film along with Niranjan Reddy, a close friend of Mahesh Babu. Kriti Sanon is sharing screen space with Mahesh. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music of the movie and the movie is being made on 14 Reels Entertainment. Currently Mahesh Mahesh is shooting for Sukumar movie.
