Pokiri not for Mahesh ?

Prince Mahesh Babu’s super hit movie ‘Pokiri’. It is one of the biggest hit in Mahesh’s career. But if the story in today’s edition of ‘Eenadu’ is to be believed, the film originally belonged to Ravi Teja. Actually, Puri wanted to make the movie with Ravi Teja and Parvathi Melton in the lead role. The movie was reportedly given the title ‘Uttam Singh S/o Suryanarayana’. But the film title tuned into ‘Pokiri’ for Mahesh Babu and Illeana was replaced by Parvathi Melton in the movie. Looks like Ravi Teja’s loss is Mahesh Babu’s gain in this instance.
