The past few days, Tollywood has been abuzz with news that Mahesh Babu is playing a cameo in Pawan Kalyan's forthcoming family entertainer, directed by Trivikram. In fact, word was doing the rounds that Mahesh Babu is playing a 'pivotal role' in the movie and will also be sharing screen space with the Power Star.
However, a reliable source from the production house puts an end to all speculation and confirms that these reports are false. "We did not cast Mahesh Babu in the film and these are just rumours and we don't know where they came from," said the source. Though the two have never shared screen space together, interestingly, Mahesh Babu had once lent his voice for a narrative track in Pawan Kalyan's earlier film, Jalsa.
The movie's unit is currently filming scenes on the lead cast at a private studio in the city and will soon head to Europe in June for canning the songs. Bollywood actor Boman Irani, who is also playing an important role in the film, has already finished shooting for his part. Samantha and Praneetha are the leading ladies and Devi Sri Prasad is providing the soundtrack. The film is being rumoured to be titled Attarintiki Daredi and a formal announcement is expected in a few days.
