When a journo asked "Does '1' means Are You Making It A Point that You Are 'No.1'", Mahesh Babu replied,"It's not like that! We choose '1' as it's apt for the film. You will understand that once you watch the film. I have no other intentions".

To the query 'Is there any astrology connection to the title', the actor made it clear he doesn't believe in Astrology at all and added his sense of humor 'If that's the case, all the titles of my movies have to be one'.
