Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu to remake in Hindi:


Several hit Telugu films have remade in Hindi and they proved to be success .Now, famous filmmaker Boney Kapoor has bought the remake rights of Mahesh Babu’s 2003 hit action film Okkadu for his son Arjun Kapoor. The movie starring Mahesh Babu and Bhoomika Chawla in leads, was hit at the AP Box Office.

 It was also remade in Tamil, Kannada, Bengali languages and become a big hit at the Box Office in their respective states. Now, Arjun Kapoor is essaying the lead role played by Mahesh Babu in the original film Okkadu, while Sonakshi Sinha is likely to appear in the female lead. The Bollywood actor confirmed news about starring in the remake. He said, “Yes, I am doing the remake of Okkadu with my father.” 

But when asked about Sonakshi Sinha’s presence in the Hindi remake of Okkadu, Arjun Kapoor declined to divulge any details related to other cast and crew. Popular director jodi Abbas-Mustan, who are basking in the success of their latest venture Race 2, will direct the Hindi version of Okkadu, which will be produced by Boney Kapoor.
